Orientation week!
I came on the campus on the 15th and have simply been unable to sit down and write anything. I haven't slept before 2 am or woken up later than 6 am daily. Not all of this sleep deprivation is orientation-induced; we have the Co2006 alums on campus and I just don't want to miss this chance of interacting with them. At the outset - hats off to the alums for doing such a great job for helping us out in every way possible - all of them have been truly phenomenal in terms of their knowledge and co-operation and I have learnt a lot from them in just these 4 days here. Co2006 : You guys are amazing!
The campus is buzzing with the newbies - we are all anxious people - trying to figure out which career path is the best for us, trying to get a hang of this sprawling campus, trying to remember the hundreds of names thrown at us everyday and of course trying to get a group of friends with whom we click. It's just awesome being a part of Co2007 - I have already met some extremely talented and interesting people and i'm sure i'll meet many more.
In all this hectic activity I keep reminding myself of what I've come here for. I'm here to chase my dream and by God I'm gonna do all that I need to - to make it possible (of course with zero honor code violations ;) I have made a few promises to myself for this exciting year ahead and I'm ready to work on them. ISB - bring it on!
