Kellogg R2 submitted!
As usual, submitted the K app hours before the deadline. Just can't get over this Just-in-time habit ;)
This is the other app after W on which I have worked sooo extremely hard ... Thanks are out to Harry for his incisive takes on my essays and my cool new friend Mark for his encouraging views on my career goals .. the essays surely look crisper/tighter now....for the next few months i'll be hoping like crazy for some good news from Evanston/Philly! Kind of worried on not receiving any email re:off-site K interviews. Although none of my friends have reported getting an interview email, i'm in a bit of a rush to complete the interview in the coming two weeks because of my away-assignment in Feb.
Will also be submitting Yale by 10th. That is another one of my favourites. With just two essays of extreme brevity, it's actually much tougher than most apps.
Kind of stuck with what should be my plan of action for the W waitlist situation? Everyone including Adcomm has asked me to lie low/sit tight without contact and without sending additional material [(so that I do not take two bites at the evaluation apple ;)], but i can already see that my other waitlisted friends are not quite as patient as the waitlist letter requests us to be ;) , Some serious lobbying is in progress.... is that still fair play? I wonder if someone can throw some light on the waitlist policy's nuances? And I seriously hope that there's justice after all because I intend to strictly follow the letter's no contact policy!
