I haven't read more satisfying words than the above in recent weeks! That's a Wharton interview invite that i received 30 minutes ago. It feels great and at the same time I feel for the other candidates waiting anxiously for the invite as the clock ticks on ever so quickly towards the Nov/17 deadline.
It has been an agonizing wait; at times one begins to question one's own credentials. But now i truly believe that when b-schools say that they want to listen to the whole story, they mean it. Nobody would give me a decent shot at even an interview invite with my kind of numbers, but i know that i have an interesting story to tell and a valid reason to be with the best!
I have made some great friends in my journey so far, each one of them a super achiever and a great human being in his / her own right. It has also been a very humbling experience as I have seen and heard first hand, extra-ordinary tales of courage and resolve in my friends, stuff that makes my struggles seem so ordinary....
ok then, the real deal begins now, got to prepare .. hard ... starting right now!

I noticed you mentioned Juhu, somewhere else in your blog. That jumpstarted my memory reel !! I used to live till my 12th grade near the AmbarOscar cinema (now Shoppers Stop)..has been almost 13 years since I left. How are things out there (the Andheri bridge and all that !!)
been in the US for the last 7 years now but as they say childhood memories are full with life and spirit.
btw - what is this "Swift" car, who is the manufacturer ?

anonymous : Andheri is rocking! it's really taken off as a major commercial/malls destination. However, the honest answer is that the municipal authorities have painted on top of rust. The underbelly remains pathetic and is worsening!
Swift is the latest Suzuki compact, it hit the indian market at the same time as it hit Europe!
